Christmas project 2025

With the Christmas Project 2025, our association set a clear sign that education should not be a luxury. The aim of the project was to support children at our project locations in Namibia with urgently needed school materials and to make the start of the school year in January easier for them. At the same time, the project aimed to ease the financial burden on families during this period. In total, around 300 children were reached.

As part of the project, gift sets worth approximately €10 each were prepared. These included notebooks, pens, and small personal surprises. The sets were lovingly and carefully assembled by our local partners to ensure that the contents matched the children’s age and needs.

Project Locations Reached

The gifts were distributed through the following projects:

• approx. 200 children at the soup kitchen at the Community Center Rundu
• approx. 50 children at Annette’s Soup Kitchen in Otjiwarongo
• approx. 50 children at Mangomba Pre-Primary in Rundu

At the Community Center Rundu, the project was complemented by a shared Christmas celebration. With a bouncy castle and various activities, the children experienced a joyful sense of community. At the same time, the event highlighted the importance of the projects as places of learning, support, and togetherness.
